What Is Kabbalah Empty What Is Kabbalah

Kabbalah (literally "receiving/tradition"; also Romanised Cabala, etc.; different transliterations now tend to denote alternative traditions) is an esoteric method, discipline, and school of thought. A traditional Kabbalist in Judaism is called a Mekubal.

What Is Kabbalah?
Kabbalah is an ancient wisdom that reveals how the universe and life work. On a literal level, the word Kabbalah means “to receive.” It's the study of how to receive fulfillment in our lives.
Most of us, at some point in our life, have been overcome with the feeling that we are not as fulfilled as we could be. Paradoxically, often the harder we strive to achieve that fulfillment, the more it eludes us.
When we speak about fulfillment, we don't mean just being temporarily happy or experiencing fleeting senses of wellbeing. We mean connecting to the energy, and maintaining our connection to true long-lasting fulfillment.
Kabbalah is an ancient paradigm for living. It teaches that all of the branches of our lives - health, relationships, careers - emanate from the same trunk and the same root. It's the technology of how the universe works at the core level. It's a way of looking at the world that can connect you to the kind of permanent fulfillment you seek.
Kabbalah teaches universal principles that apply to all peoples of all faiths and all religions, regardless of ethnicity or where you come from. The beauty of studying Kabbalah is that you can't be forced to think in a particular way. There can be no coercion in spirituality. All we can do is simply share information with you and hope that you will apply it to your life with the intention of bettering it.  Read More Here...

What is Hermetic Kabbalah?
Kabbalah is not a religion per se. Kabbalah is defined as the secret, mystical, magical, philosophical and religious teachings developed by Jewish scholars. Kabbalah provides a key to the interpretation of the Spiritual Teachings, the hidden meanings of the scriptures. The Kabbalah studied by the Mystery traditions has incorporated much deeper knowledge and is defined as the Hermetic Kabbalah.

In Hebrew, the word Kabbalah means tradition. It is derived from the root Qebal which means to receive. This hidden meaning refers to the oral tradition of Kabbalah—transmitted from mouth to ear, teacher to student. There are many different spellings of what we are going to call Kabbalah in this and throughout our teachings. When it is translated into English it is sometimes spelled Kabbalah, Cabala, or Kabbalah depending on the tradition of the writer. Many traditions that include the teaching of Kabbalah spell it differently depending on the aspect they are working with. For example, Kabbalah and Cabala are sometimes used to refer to the teachings of the Jewish faith. Kabbalah is sometimes used by various traditions to refer to the hermetic, magickal, alchemical side of these teachings.Read More Here...

The Tree Of Life
The kabbalistic tree of life, the Etz Chaim, is a central system of the Kabbalah and it describes the manifestations of the divine creation in the book of the formation, the Sefer Jetzirah. The tree of life is sub-divided into several levels of the ten primal numbers, namely the Sefirot (sing. Sefira), which are linked by the 22 paths. These paths correspond to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
The primal light, the Ayn Soph (or En Sof), forms the first stage, and could also be described as the infinite light of God, the first motivation of God's creation, or rather the first movement of “the God” outside of God; the largest being of the world, which is way beyond the grasp of the human mind. Due to its contraction and expansion, the Sefirot and therefore all appearances of existence come into being.
They are to be found within the four worlds, which are: Assia, the world of action, Jetzirah, the world of formation, Briah, the world of creation and the supernal world of Atziluth. In the tree of life, between the pure consciousness and the subconscious, we find the mental activity: on the left, in Sefira Hod, the analytical thinking, and on the right the Sefira Netzach, which stands for the creative thinking.
The right side of the Etz Chaim thus describes the female, receiving principle, which is characterized by the Sefirah Chokmah, while on the left side we can see the male, bestowing principle, which is manifested in the Sefira Binah (the right side of the tree corresponds to the left side of the human body and vice versa). There are seven mundane Sefirot (Malkuth, Yesod, Netzach, Hod, Tiferet, Geburah, Hesed) and three heavenly or divine Sefirot (Binah, Chokmah, Kether) who are separated from each other.
The perception (Daat) bridges the divine and the mundane - heaven and earth. At the bottom of my illustration, you find three pillars, which stand for hardness (Binah, Geburah and Hod), mildness (Kether, Tiferet, Yesod and Malkuth) and mercy (Chokmah, Hesed and Netzach). To the left of the tree one can see the seven levels of human existence, which correspond to the chakras known from the asian-indian tradition.
The highest Sefira Kether, represents the presence of God within creation, while the lowest Sefira Malkuth, describes matter (the mundane, our planet). Between these two entities, there is the human consciousness, which is held within the Sefira Tiferet. Between the conciousness and the mundane lies the subconscious World represented by the Sefira Yesod. See More Kabbalah Stuff To Learn
